Couples & Group Counselling

Couples Counselling

I have recently qualified in intimate partner relationships and couples therapy, allowing me to support couples in navigating a range of important topics, including communication styles, attachment issues, infidelity, neurodiversity, and gender transition support.

I take a flexible and tailored approach to exploring these significant matters. Relationships are central to our lives—they can be a source of joy, support, and a space where we feel safe to be our true selves. However, when challenges arise, they can deeply affect our well-being, often leading to stress, anxiety, or sadness.

My goal is to help you and your partner work through these difficulties with understanding and care.

Specialist Service – Polyamorous and Non-Monogamous Relationships

I offer a specialist service for those exploring alternative relationship dynamics, providing support in navigating complex emotions such as jealousy, understanding communication patterns, and exploring attachment styles and love languages. My approach is tailored to help you balance the diverse needs of multiple partners while fostering healthy and fulfilling connections.

Feedback from a couple I counselled

The care and attention Abbie showed to both of us during our session was key to us opening a more productive line of dialogue. The ground rules she set for speaking–ensuring that no one spoke over or interrupted the other–shepherded us towards honest conversation and introspection in which we each felt like we had the space to share our personal perspectives. Having someone to mediate and ask insightful, guiding questions helped us each pinpoint unspoken concerns that were weighing on our relationship. After our session we felt more like a team working together against shared anxieties, and we feel more prepared to return to the questions Abbie asked of us while we navigate life changes.
