After your initial free assessment session, if you would like to make a commitment to work with me, a verbal contract will be made and a start date, initial number of sessions and and times will be confirmed.

Face to face sessions can be held in Leeds, York or Hull and rates may vary on room bookings and number of clients that can be seen in day.

All information about fees and terms and any other concerns you may have will be discussed at the initial assessment session.

Fees payment
All sessions are 50 minutes

Fees, are payable prior to the commencement of the session by bank transfer.

Cancellation
Reasonable notice of any cancellations must be given by both client and counsellor, within 24 hours.

Suitable alternatives will always be offered where possible. Any missed sessions with no notice by the client must be paid for and failure to do so may impact future sessions. Sessions cancelled by the therapist will not be charged for.

Confidentiality
All sessions are carried out with the strictest confidentially, adhering to Governing Body and GDPR rules.  Please feel free to ask for further information about how your data is stored and how records are held. Please note that if I feel a client to be at risk to themself or others, this confidentiality may be broken.

Number of sessions/ending counselling session
In order to guarantee the best therapeutic outcome for the client, I recommend a minimum of 6 sessions which can be kept under review.

However, the client can decide when they wish to end the counselling and I offer full flexibility.
